A Fresh Feast – introducing the new Kwendalo Farm Shop

We’re thrilled to introduce the new Kwendalo Farm Shop – and our new Farm Stall at the Old Nick Wednesday Market in Plettenberg Bay!

At Kwendalo, we love to be in touch with the earth and, with Nature as our teacher, we strive to meet her needs with sound ecological processes. This, in turn, provides harmonious, nourishing food and herbs. The bounty of our gardens – grown using regenerative agriculture – is now available for you to take home and enjoy.

The farm now produces 100 species of vegetables, fruits and herbs which will be available at our newly opened on-site Farm Shop and at the Wednesday Market at Old Nick. We are so pleased to be able to provide nourishing food, celebrating health and flavour, that has been cultivated with care and purpose.

Kwendalo’s Farm Manager, Gift Lwazi explains: “We have worked for many years using regenerative agricultural techniques, learning and growing with our gardens as they continue to grow and mature. We are very proud to have reached this milestone. Our abundance of produce has led to both the Farm Shop and the Farm Stall at the market and, as our offerings will change with the season, they should provide varied, tasty and exciting additions to any meal.”

Currently, the Kwendalo Farm Shop is open on Wednesdays from 09:00 to 13:00. So, pop in at the farm to see what’s fresh and tasty each week. Or join the Kwendalo Farm Shop Whatsapp Group for weekly updates on what is available. You can join here or scan the QR code below. Also look out for our pop-up Farm Stall at Old Nick’s famous Wednesday Market.
