Kwendalo’s Green Cafe is introducing a new a-la-carte menu on Tuesdays and Thursdays to make the most of beautiful Plettenberg Bay summer days and the vibrant produce that is currently being harvested in the gardens. Our new Kwendalo summer menu below.
The menu, which will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9.00 and 14.00 will feature light, nourishing breakfasts and lunches, flavoursome juices and smoothies, herbal teas and more. Kwendalo’s in-house chef and food alchemist, Yolande van Papendorp is excited to branch out into daytime service and to showcase abundant Kwendalo produce in new and delicious ways. “It has been a wonderful experience – being involved in the gardens at Kwendalo, watching our food grow and using that as inspiration for our dishes, which will be predominantly plant based – well suited to those who enjoy vegetarian and vegan options. I love to be in touch with the earth and use its produce to nourish and heal the body through my cooking.”
In addition to tantalising lunches and breakfasts, smoothies and juices, Kwendalo is also the first Blushield BluZone venue on the Garden Route. As Kwendalo is seeking harmony within its natural environs, we thought that we would surround our visitor’s with nature’s frequencies which have been shown to reduce fatigue associated with EMF, promote emotional stability, support restful sleep and increase energy levels. This then, even in the age of technology, we are working towards balance and harmony with our surroundings. Blushield is a revolutionary form of EMF protection that produces coherent scalar frequencies within the human responsive range – based on mathematical algorithms that mimic nature’s native frequencies.
