Have you tried Kwendalo’s coffee?

At Kwendalo, we’re using Bean There’s single origin coffee beans and are currently serving their “111 Blend” at our Green Café.  This blend a special combination of single origin beans from Burundi, Ethiopia and Tanzania.

Here are five reasons why are particularly proud to be supporting Bean There:

  1. Their beans make great-tasting coffee!
  2. They are a South African business and specialise in selecting quality beans grown on this African continent.

More importantly, they reflect our own ecological and socially-minded values with the following internationally recognised certifications:

  1. Fairtrade. An ethical certification that promotes equality and sustainability in farming, ensuring improved labour and living conditions and environmentally friendly practices.
  2. Ecocert. An inspection and certification body recognising environmentally friendly agriculture.
  3. The Rainforest Alliance. The alliance recognises efforts in conserving biodiversity and promoting sustainable livelihoods by transforming land-use practices, business practices, and consumer behaviour – while ensuring profitability.

So, the next time you’re visiting Kwendalo, pop into the Green Cafe for knowning that we’re serving cups of great-tasting, feel-good coffee!
